We are the UK’s largest gas distribution network, bringing gas to 11 million homes and businesses. We manage a network of more than 82,000 miles of pipes, most of them underground, which transport gas throughout the North West, West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England and North London.
The project is part of a £123million investment this year, which will see more than 395km of pipes upgraded across the East of England.
Work starts on Monday 12 October and is expected to last 11 weeks, until Monday 21 December

Essential work in Hills Road, Cambridge, will help keep residents connected to safe and reliable gas supplies for cooking and heating. The upgrade will involve replacing 650 metres of gas pipe between Cavendish Avenue and Holbrook Road.
