A road closure is currently in place near London’s historic Old Bailey courthouse as engineers work to repair a gas escape.
Newgate Street is currently closed in both directions as engineers work to repair a gas main.
Work is currently expected to continue over the weekend and into next week.
This work must be done to help ensure the local community keep on enjoying safe and reliable gas supplies for cooking and heating.
Local gas supplies are not expected to be interrupted during the work.
